EcoMetric is looking for a Senior Energy Engineer to join our team. Work may be performed anywhere within the continental United States of America (U.S.). Domestic travel to client facilities within the U.S. will be required to perform job duties; an anticipated 10% of employee's time will be spent working at and traveling to and from client facilities within the U.S. Travel to the company head office in Paoli, PA to attend meetings is required once or twice a year. · Analyze energy logging data with HOBOWare software; prepare and review energy and peak demand savings calculations for various energy efficiency measures
· Perform advanced spreadsheet-based energy savings analyses of building systems.
· Develop energy simulations using eQUEST and REM/Rate software.
· Lead and perform inspection of commercial and industrial facilities to verify installation of energy efficient equipment or systems: collect and document data, and: deploy/remove temporary HOBO data logging and metering equipment.
· Develop benefit/cost/risk models for energy efficiency projects and programs.
· Perform QA/QC of project work to conform to technical documentation.
· Maintain records of data, notes, findings, and photos from site inspections and analyses.
· Participate in regular meetings and conference calls with internal and external parties; prepare and present key deliverables for clients, including written reports and slideshow presentations.
· Research funding opportunities (rebates, grants, and financial assistance programs) for energy efficiency and sustainability projects at commercial and industrial facilities.
· Research emerging innovative technologies related to commercial building systems.
· Develop Excel macros based tools to verify savings from energy efficiency measures.
· Master’s degree or higher in related engineering field
· Relevant engineering experience
