Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in engineering and consulting teams to identify and recommend energy savings strategies to achieve more energy-efficient operation: Inspect, monitor, and analyze industrial, commercial, and residential energy systems, including solar photovoltaic installations, measuring energy consumption and analyzing processes: Calculate energy savings/cost analyses for projects using TRM algorithms, temperature bin analysis, lighting calculators, eQUEST modeling, NREL PVWatts and System Advisor Model and other tools: Conduct ASHRAE* level II and other energy audits on industrial and commercial facilities to assess, evaluate, and analyze energy usage: Analyze utility and energy efficiency program data, identifying trends, summarizing program events, and identifying causal impacts on program results: Develop savings analysis tools and training materials for custom and M&V* projects: Review retro commissioning measures to verify savings resulting from low-cost/no-cost operation & maintenance energy conservation measures in commercial buildings: Determine and install electrical metering equipment and their respective parameters to measure energy consumption: Review filings, utility commission and evaluator documents for technical accuracy and sound engineering practices: Develop IPMVP*-compliant M&V* plans and reports: Support senior staff with development of presentations, papers, and proposals: Travel to client facilities throughout the U.S., as required to perform job duties.

Qualifications

·         Master’s degree or higher in related engineering field

·         Relevant engineering experience
